Globat did VERY well for the month of November for server uptime percentages.

As you can see, there was very few downtimes in November from Globat.

With Globat, we only experienced a total maximum of 41 minutes of downtime with the possibility of this being much less. In November, we had a 5 minute ping resolution set for the majority of the month so if we were down for only 30 seconds during an outage, we still show the outage as 5 minutes.
The total uptime was 99.91%. Very good! There were no major outages lasting longer than 30 minutes during this testing period.
This reference has important information on how our Globat tests are performed. These results are based on full page load requests to a test 10K file used throughout our network for accurate reporting. All uptime percentages are based on a 1 minute ping resolution which is the highest setting possible.
The testing performed here is funded independantly by the site owner. The equipment and network required to operate these tests costs an incredible amount of money for us to maintain. If we helped you reach your web hosting decision, we would be greatful if you purchased your hosting plan through our links here. Without viewer support, this resource wouldn’t exist. Thank you.

So how was Globat for outages? It looks like we had a few days with problems, but overall, we are satisfied with server stability for October 2007. Below we will give you a closer look into these outages as well as a chart and day by day chart.
Here is the server uptime graph we have for October 2007 for Globat web hosting.

Anytime you see a dip in the above chart, it signifies an outage. The more dips, the worse it is. Here is a day by day chart which is also posted in the All servers speed tests post.

We report the following outages for October 2007
October 9th, 5 minutes
October 14th, 5 minutes
October 17th, 3 hours
We send pings and page load requests once every five minutes. So the days that show we had an outage for five minutes is innacurate for the grand scheme of things. If Globat was only offline for 30 seconds, we would still show 5 minutes since that is how we have our pings set for this month.
Although we show an uptime report of 99.47%, the actual result is higher. Since we do show there was a single day of outage for longer than 1 hour, we grade Globat a B+ for server uptime. Overall, we are still very impressed with the server stability.
This reference has important information on how our Globat tests are performed. We do not just send a tiny ping, these reports are from full page loads of this site’s main page.
