Here is his Globat hosting review:
Pretty good deal in terms of dollar/space/bandwidth, which initially got me sucked in, but there were hidden costs and they attempted to bill me for upgrades I didn't ask for.
Customer support was average. Chat was convenient. But many of my problems couldn't be solved by their outsourced people and had to be sent to tickets, which took time.
The site is always slow. Just ping it or check Alexa. And the downtime seems to be about 4%. Seriously.
The pricing sounded good, but they charge separately from hosting/domains and they don't transfer your domains just because you purchase hosting for them. Plus they screw up the renewals so you site disappears. Uggh.
Very little help in set up or accomodation for harder business issues like bulk email. Lots of red tape. No support for php5.
Avoid globat. I am now looking for another host. It's a pain to go on a search but I just can't take it any more.
